A Noteworthy Day

-Today started out with a very nice remembrance ceremony for 9/11 led by the band and chorus. In class we talked a bit about 9/11 and how it too was history and had an impact on the US and the world.
-Most of the day was spent doing notes on the four explorers we are studying
John Cabot of England
Fransico Coronado of Spain
Robert La Salle
Robert Champlain both of France
-After our notes we watch some multimedia presentations on them.
-We finished up with a little map exercise which some may have to complete at home--it entailed labeling where each explorer explored

Tomorrow students have a quiz on today's notes and then we will be writing scripts in groups to produce their on video news broadcast about their assigned explorer.
